Show some kindness to the people who serve us everyday.
Empathy, a rare quality, to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, to understand another persons plight is not something that comes naturally to most people.
On my way to work, I decided to ask my rickshaw driver, if he had anything to eat since morning. His answer was no, he continued to share how, some days all they have is, a few bananas or one cup of tea. They sometimes also go hours without using the washroom or a drop of water.
In that moment I realised , how much we take for granted, and instantly I offered some tasty Vada Pav’s to him.
I am going to do it everyday to work and il try to take this with me into 2019.
Do your bit for our public service individuals before 2018 passes by.
