Review – The sweet story of the Salli, a matchstick looking potato finding a home in the land of the great monarch Parsi Chicken Curries, famous for its masaledar flavour of tender chicken pieces, guarded by the big and toasty, but soft and tender from the inside army of pav’s. In this movie, you see how potato Sallis come to the Parsi chicken curries for a home, because their homes were burnt down.
The film takes an interesting turn, when the Sallis have to present to the King of Chicken Curries, one strong reason that makes them worthy to be granted a place in the Parsi land. The Salli’s answered saying, like the Parsi’s believe they are like sugar in a glass of milk, not visible but sweet, so are the Salli’s, they are crunchy and crispy taking no space, just standing up like a crown on their land. King Parsi chicken curry was so impressed, that he allowed Salli’s to stay in their land and since that day the land is known as – Salli Chicken. It is a delicious dish, and a must try at this classic Parsi joint.
