Just 5 days to the day we draw a clean slate and enter 2019.
But before that, let’s learn an exciting fact.
Did you know why 26th December is known as Boxing Day ?
…no it is not a day dedicated Boxers.
There are believed to be two origins to this day.
First is that, Boxing Day was a custom that originated in UK and was celebrated by all the then commonwealth countries. The custom required every household to present a gift in the form of a box to all the help of the house, over time this changed and boxes were exchanged with friends and family as well.
Another story is, the day after Christmas, all the offerings in the church, that was collected in a box , would be used to celebrate Christmas with the congregation.
We decided to share a Christmas box with our dear friend, do send a box of Christmas Cheer to someone you find dear this Boxing Day.

BLACK FOREST DE CONSTRUCTED

Review –
This is a story of a mythical, magical and ancient cakery monument called ‘The BlackForest’ which had special powers called the The Taste.
Many years ago, this monument was built by Joseph Keller 1981- 1987. In this monument he infused special energy and mystical powers to pull people towards ‘The Taste’.
It was huge, dark and creamy. It was covered by densely populated grated chocolate and inside were hidden gems called Maraschino cherry. The power was so strong that, anyone who visited the BlackForest Monument was drawn back to it .
With such strong powers, other emperors were tempted to research and find the secret behind The Taste.
They came and robbed all the essential ingredients they thought would help them in constructing the Black Forest monument and find the magical powers it contained but they all failed.
One fine day, the emperor Jiggs Karla’s son, owner of 6 successful restaurants and restaraunter of the year 2016, Zorawer Kalra along with his head chef came to see and experience the famous magical power ‘Taste’.
Zorawer is not a chef so instead of constructing the Black Forest , he simply deconstructed the elements of chocolate brownie, Grated Chocolate, cream and Cherry together emitted a strong power of taste. Hence, the story is about the ‘Deconstruction of The black forest’.

Review –
The story is about a competition on who can throw the ultimate Pizza party at Leaping Windows.
This is an Australian custom , where families of ordinary olives, awesome jalapeños, mighty mushrooms, cool corns, cheeky cheese and the great grand Garlics are always present. These families came every year and work very hard to ensure their family ‘Taste’ wins the competition and goes home victorious.
But legend has it that for over 20 decades the Pizza Party competition never got a winner and ended in a filthy fight for power.
This year was nothing different, the party started getting dirty and chaotic but someone from the families decided to get the Head of the Pizza association to ensure peace. This is when the protagonists of this film the Round, Broad, crisp and Manly man – Mr. Bread enters the story and reminds all the families the basics of Pizzaness.
It’s not about the win, it’s about coming together and being true to the religion of pizza, being true to the competition and being true to the people who will witness our triumph on many tongues. So come brothers let’s start with a historic party. They won many hungry stomachs together and the pizza party was then called – ‘BBQutioner

Remember and surprise your teacher.

We have so many people, who play the role of teacher and guru after we leave school.
We were fortunate to find a boss who first is our friend and teacher. He has shown us , how to be productive, creative and kind individuals and purely based on example.
We have had some wonderful evenings with @arvindrao Sir and before 2018 passes by, we thought of surprising him with something tasty.
Thank you will never be enough for what our beloved teachers have taught us, but we can spend some time with them, to show our love and respect.

It is a privilege only few people are fortunate enough to enjoy.
It is a joy to see my strict, discipline and firm father transform into a fun, free and childlike grandpa with my nieces.

If you have a grandparent , then waste no time to visit them and have something tasty with them.
They have a love so pure to give , it can never be matched, they are our personal Secret Santas.

Share a meal with your Neighbor

Neighbors are our next door family. Family because their mother tongue becomes your second language and that happened with me. In my childhood, I had spent most of my time at my neighbour’s house, speaking Konkani, eating Dosas and playing 50 games in a small passage. They are the first ones to know, when you are doing good and the first ones to run and come for help when you are in need.
So this year, be kind to your neighbour, your second family as, you are their second family too.

Cast – Chicken Patty, onions, cheddar cheese, hot sauce and roasted garlic mayo.
Review – The story is about a builder. Builder, Mr. Chicken patty was well educated with herbs. Mr. Chicken Patty turned hero when he saved a house of 4 brothers – Cheddar cheese, hot sauce, Garlic mayo and onions. Due to an earthquake, house of 4 brothers was going to fall, but thanks to Mr. Chicken patty, who arrived at the right time and with his round shape and size, using his herbs logics, he saved the house. A must watch burger movie, highly recommended.

Step out on a blind date.

2018 is close to its end and there are certain things we just do not push ourselves to do. So we decided to do something unpredictable and we each went for a blind date.
The experience was beautiful, you get a clean slate to start with and you can write this new story any way you like.
Just like 2019 will be a new slate , try meeting someone for a blind date and eat something tasty.

Cast – Desi chilli sauce , Veggies and Hakka Noodles

Review – This is a spicy and saucy story about an investigator Hakka Noodles and his adventure, about a missing, Indian foreigner called Desi Chilli Sauce on board the Wok Express to China. Hakka is a thick, long and fine investigator, over time he could almost take up any face, and disguise himself into Schezwan, Barbeque or Chilli Sauce looks to get to the end of a case. This time the case at hand is hard, because the spicy and hot aroma of the missing Desi Chilli sauce is everywhere in the air but, none of the on board sharp, juicy and crisp stir fried veggies can spot Desi Chilli Sauce. All of this keeps you hooked and you wonder where did the Desi Chilli Sauce disappear and how is it still engulfing the whole train with its hot and spicy flavours, leaving people with burnt tongues and a few noses leaking.
This is a major spoiler,and I must reveal it. This whole time the Desi Chilli Sauce was walking around disguised as Hakka Noodles, slyly burying Hakka Noodles, all you can taste and sense is the hot Desi Chilli Sauce dressed in the garb of Hakka Noodles. I personally found it too spicy, but because it is a make my own wok, your takeaway could be different.
