COLD CHOCOLATE WAR

Talkie – Belgian Dark Chocolate Mouse Cake
Theatre – @therollingpinindia
Ticket Price – Rs.125

Box office rating – 2.8 stars

Review -A salivating film, about a war fought between Belgium and Switzerland that not many know of.
The movie showcases the famous chocolate hero, Belgium chocolate and his victorious win.
Switzerland was a land of superior milk chocolate warriors, who are fooled by a dusty and fine strategy planned by Belgian Chocolate.
Like the Trojan horse of Troy, Belgian chocolate decided to enter the city of Switzerland, in disguise, wearing a blue cape and white chocolate crown.
The Swiss chocolate army thought of him a King, of a nearby Swiss village and let him pass.
Just when the Belgian chocolate reached to greet the king, he dropped his blue cape, revealing the smooth chocolate mousse inside of his, impaling the sword through his stomach killing the milky white king. This was how Belgium won the war and till date there remains a Cold War between the milk chocolates of Switzerland and dark cocoa chocolates of Belgium.

FRY FLICK

Talkie – Hot and Spicy French Fries
Theatre – @thechocolateheaven_mumbai

Ticket – Rs 170
Box office Rating – 2 stars

Review – It is a short film based on teenage romance. This is a genre that is often explored, but rarely a mega hit. Unfortunately this teen flick doesn’t quite do justic to the genre.
This masaledar story, explores the deep fried, crispy potato Mr. French fries undying love for the spicy and saucy Thousand Island.
Whenever a film has these two characters at play, you expect, the spicy thousand Island and crunchy French Fry to work wonders. But sadly neither do they live up to the predictable taste of such a classic, nor have they invented something new. I wish they could add more characters and twists in the story.

AT THE BAR

Talkie – Grilled shrimp spaghetti
Ticket Price – Rs.390

Theatre – @culinarytalesmumbai
Box office rating – 3.5 stars

Cast – grilled Shrimp, Aglio Olio Spaghetti, garlic bread, shredded cheese and stir fried veggies.

Review – This film is a visual delight that could have had a slightly more delicious screenplay.
Set in a dry and greasy bar of Italy, Aglio Olio Spaghetti stood in the middle of a chaotic street of salt and pepper. The bar tender had a staff of crunchy and fresh stir fried veggies.
One day at the bar, two rubbery, shrimp men, suited and grilled in oil, standing tall were seated at the bar. It started with a mild conversation about some shredded cheese. But turns into a heated one, where one amongst the two shrimp man kills the other.
I won’t disclose this climax of how and why the shrimp killed the other. But you must try this Italian gangster film at a refreshing theatre called Culinary Tales.

A WHITE – RED CAROL

Talkie – Boston Red Velvet Cupcake
Theatre – Boston Cupcakery
Ticket Price – Rs.110

Box Office Rating – 3.8 stars

Review – Every Christmas, Miss Red Velvet was the most sought after carol singer because she had the most moist , colourful and sweet voice. The only thing she longed for, was a partner to sing with, like other cupcakes. But Red Velvet was considered far too superior to sing with, even for the most creamiest of frostings.
One day during her usual practice sessions , A fluffy, tall and fair butter cream frosting her fan, from the meadow sang along with her. Red velvet felt the gush of nostalgia when she heard butter cream frosting, she recollected all the memories of her childhood days. She continued singing with butter cream frosting and at the end of the song, she offered him to sing with her for all her next stage shows. Their duo was super hit, many albums got released and they became a star. Since that day , no one has indulged in a red velvet cupcake without its classic butter cream frosting. So go to Boston Cupcakery to experience their concert film and let us know how did you feel.

Review – This movie is about Red Indian Paneer. The film is set in 1846, a time when the Red Indian paneers resided in the Schezuan jungle, of China. This jungle was rich in spices, and were often attacked by other natives like the tiny yet pungent Spring onions, the flavourful garlic and fiercely spicy red chillies. Amongst these fiery upheavals and Sauces sacrifices, it is interesting to watch how did the Red Indian paneers emerge Victorious.
It’s a decent movie with regards to taste and the war skills of the Red Paneer is soft and fresh. Do watch it , if you are looking for an entertaining and economical movie.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

The above phrase was just a moral written on the black board, in school. But life explained the meaning once we grew up.
Friends are your second family, people you can fall back on, people you share your deepest and darkest secrets, without the fear of being judged.
So, before you bid goodbye to 2018, cherish and treat one of your closest friend to thank him/her for always being there with you in your Ups and Downs. Cheers to friendship
